RAYCHEM T2Black-12 is a 12 W/m floor heating cable ideal for electric floor heating under ceramic tile, marble, as well as under laminate, vinyl and wood floors. Factory-terminated with a 2.5-meter power cord, the T2Black-12 provides easy installation. Installation recommendations:

• Floor tiles - The heating cable should be laid directly in the adhesive layer under the tiles. It is important that the cable is carefully taped, without leaving air spaces. It is recommended to lay the cable at 80 mm intervals, which allows to achieve an efficiency of 150 W/m².
• Large floor tiles, natural stone, marble - The heating cable should first be poured with a layer of self-leveling screed with a minimum thickness of 5 mm (measured from the top of the cable). Only after this step can you proceed to gluing large tiles. It is recommended to lay the cable at intervals of 80 mm, which allows you to achieve an output of 150 W/m².
• Under floor panels, vinyl panels, linoleum, wood floors - the heating cable should be poured with a layer of self-leveling screed with a minimum thickness of 15 mm. For these floors, the power of 100 W/m² should not be exceeded, and the cable is recommended to be laid at 120 mm intervals. It is also necessary to provide control by means of a thermostat with a floor temperature sensor, limited to 27 - 28°C.
• On wooden OSB - On wooden OSB, first apply a layer of cement-based adhesive with a minimum thickness of 2 mm. After the glue has dried, continue the installation according to the above instructions for the type of floor finish you have chosen.
• In anhydrite or self-levelling screed - a cable with this heating power works best in screeds 15 - 30 mm thick.
