Calculator - what spacing for a heating cable under tiles?

The calculator allows you to quickly select a floor heating cable and calculates the spacing between heating cables. This calculator is based on RYCHEM T2Black-12 W/m and T2Black-20 W/m floor heating cable.

T2Black-12 W/m intended use:

• Ceramic tiles, marble tiles - installation directly in the adhesive layer under the tiles.
• Floor panels, vinyl panels, wood flooring - flood the heating cable with self-leveling screed at least 15 mm.

T2Black-20 W/m intended use:

• Thick ceramic tiles, marble and stone slabs - line the heating cable with a self-leveling screed of at least 8 mm and stick the floor slabs.

Move the blue sliders to set the area of the heating zone (m²) and the heating power you want per square meter (W/m²). The calculator will mark with a black frame the nearest heating cable that matches the marked specification. The calculator will also calculate the spacing between heating wires, calculate the obtained heating power and calculate the current at 230 V AC.
