How does electric energy-saving floor heating work?

Solutions

The nVent RAYCHEM T2Red self-regulating heating cable can be installed directly in the adhesive layer under tiles or in a self-leveling screed up to 30 mm thick. Installation to the substrate is done with hot glue.

Reflecta boards can be installed without screwing or gluing to the substrate. A layer of foam or corrugated cardboard underlay is laid on top of the boards, followed by a wooden floor or floor panels according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The warm floor is ready for use immediately after the installation work is completed.

Reflecta boards can be fixed to the substrate with Reflecta A-Fix adhesive or screwed (15 screws per board for wooden substrates). The T2Red heating cable is then laid in the grooves of the boards. A layer of Reflecta P-Fix primer is applied to the aluminum surface, and once dry, ceramic tiles or natural stone can be laid using the appropriate adhesive.

If you want to glue vinyl panels, laminate panels or wood flooring, the Reflecta board should be covered with a 10 mm self-leveling screed.
