Asphalt heating cables

The RAYCHEM EM-MI-PACK asphalt heating cables are mineral insulated (MI) fixed-power heating cables that provide a reliable solution for protecting asphalt surfaces from winter ice and freezing. They are ideal for preventing snow and ice on driveways and ramps, increasing safety on roads, parking lots and other asphalt surfaces. With adjustable power output depending on cable spacing, the system can achieve outputs of up to 300 W/m². The EM-MI-PACK cables are rated for high temperatures, allowing them to be used in applications with hot asphalt and then compacted with mechanical high-pressure rollers.
