RAYCHEM EM-MI-PACK is a fixed resistance mineral insulated (MI) heating cable ideal for preventing snow and ice accumulation on driveways, TIR ramps, sidewalks, helipads and asphalt-covered access roads. The cable is ideal for high-temperature applications, with a maximum exposure temperature of up to 250°C, allowing it to be directly poured into hot asphalt, which is then rolled. With variable output power depending on wire spacing (up to 300 W/m²), the EM2-MI cable is easy to adapt to different project requirements. Factory wire termination and an included cold wire make installation easy, while high mechanical strength ensures resistance to damage during installation.
